Our Team

Hi! Hola! Bonjour! Ni hao! My name is Joy and as the Regional Director for Lango Redlands, my goal is to bring quality foreign language classes to kids that are not only instructional but FUN!  My four-year-old son, Matthew, is enrolled in Lango classes, so when I was looking for teachers, I wasn't only looking for a great teacher for your child but my own, too!  I'm absolutely blown away by how easily young children can pick up a new language.  You'll have to come to a class to see for yourself!

Lango's teachers make our classes truly exceptional.  In my selection process, I looked for five distinct qualities: native/bilingual fluency, limitless positive energy, creativity, teaching experience and outstanding communication skills with both children and their parents. Beyond these qualities, though, our teachers bring unique cultural perspectives and professional backgrounds that enable them to create rich, engaging experiences in the classroom.

Rebekah Paullus is Lango's bookkeeper and Assistant Manager.  She cannot stress enough the need for foreign language skills when looking for a job and wishes for her daughter to grow up multilingual so she will have access to better opportunities.  Rebekah has a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from CalPoly Pomona.  Prior to staying home with her daughter she worked as a designer for Nightscaping. She has also served as Treasurer of the local chapter of Mom's Club International and loves gardening and camping.

We are always seeking energetic teachers who have all the qualifications listed above.  Please email us your resume for consideration.

I have grown up in southern California and have always had a passion for teaching languages.  I strongly believe that a multilingual individual has for more options in life than a monolingual individual. I have a strong background in music playing the clarinet since I was 8 years old and I have been part of many different musical ensembles.  I am currently a senior at California State University, San Bernardino majoring in French language and culture studies. Growing up in a bilingual home, I felt the need to branch out of my comfort zones and learn a third language while soaking up a new culture as well. Spanish and French are my passions and I look forward to sharing not only the language but the culture as well with many people. I have gone to Mexico several times growing up and each time has allowed me to see something new and different about my culture that I had never known before. As part of my studies, I also had the privilege to go to Paris, France this past July and study the French Language at L’Institut Catholique de Paris. I am very excited to be part of the Lango team and I look forward to promoting a fun and exciting language learning environment!
